National Apprenticeship Week 2023 – Skills for Life

National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) has begun and is the 16th year for this week-long celebration and is set to be the biggest one yet!

This annual celebration recognises the accomplishments of apprentices across the country and gives businesses the opportunity to showcase the amazing stories of their apprentices and inspire others to follow.

At Crane Communications, we are massively passionate about building future careers, and offer numerous apprenticeship programs. In fact, over the last three years, we have recruited five individuals for our apprentice positions. One of which, Brandon Banbury, has been recognised for their excellence and is a nominee for Apprentice of the Year with Banham Academy.

We’re proud of the careers we have helped develop over the years and we are keen to continue bringing enthusiastic and talented individuals into our business.

Skills for Life:

Each year, National Apprenticeship Week has a specific theme, and for NAW 2023 it is ‘Skills for Life.’

This theme represents the lifelong skills and knowledge that apprenticeship and training programs help individuals develop, to build a successful career.

Crane Communications believe apprenticeship programs are a great alternative to other education options such as university. They help you earn whilst you learn and build skillsets from real-world experiences.

Don’t just take our word for it though, hear from our apprentices themselves…

Hear from our Apprentices:

“I have enjoyed my time on the Fire & Security apprenticeship program while working within Crane Communications. I feel that I have learnt many new skills and techniques within the industry through the various sites I’ve been working on and the people who I have been working with. Everyone has been very helpful over the years and as I am approaching the end of the apprenticeship program, I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds within the Fire and Security industry.”
